Welcome to The Ark KZN: Empowering Lives Through God Centeredness

The Ark KZN is a non-profit Christian ministry located in the outer west of Durban, and has been serving its community since 2001.
At The Ark Kzn, we offer more than just temporary accommodation for the men that live here, we provide these gentlemen with a true sense of home. Our residents actively contribute to the smooth operation of our ministry through various voluntary roles, fostering a strong sense of self-worth and belonging.
We also give back to the community by sharing excess food and donations with a local church’s soup kitchen and a creche. We believe in the power of compassion, through Christ, to uplift lives. Our mission is to provide a safe home for men of all ages, offering them not only shelter and sustenance but also a pathway to a brighter future. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of those who have faced challenges and hardships, by offering a helping hand and a place to call home.
